Excellent Food- Great service- Very Very French atmosphere. Great for couples , families and groups. Limited opening when we went on friday and Saturday evenings and lunch time/ and Sunday lunch time. Enjoyed set menu which included Fish Soup- Buffet- Baked Camembert- Fish -Beef- Cheese and desert- with drinks around 50 Euros for two people. Could not eat another thin afterwards. They also do ( with 24 hours notice) a fruit de mer, which we saw being enjoyed by a large French family who were having a birthday celebration. It looked to die for, and only about 5 eros per prerson more than the set menu. I would recommend booking this and will be returning to try this in July 2017. Dont be fooled by the exterior as looks form the outide just a normal French bar that does food, you will be surprised how different the experience is when you eat there.

Lovely welcome at this village restaurant which seemed to be frequented mainly by local French people. Choose anything you want from the buffet as a starter, including snails, prawns and mussels.... I guess you could even make this your main meal ! Lamb tangine on couscous followed then cheese course follows by peach tart and cream. Finally coffee was brought round. All done very effi ciently but without feeling rushed... took about 1.5 hours for whole meal. Restaurant owner was very friendly, and the atmosphere was just 'nice'. I guess the only thing that could go wrong is if you don't like whatever the main course happens to be that day. The lamb we had was perfect .. slowed cooked until it was very tender. Wine was included for the €14 too... what's not to like !

If you want a truly French experience with delicious freshly cooked food go to Aux Petits Oignons. I go there often and am always delighted with the food. It is open every weekeday (best to check) for a very decent and inexpensive set lunch - there are other menus to choose from but the daily lunch menu is always excellent and includes wine. They are open most evenings and do a Seafood Platter - I think you may have to order this in advance - at weekends. It has a lovely atmosphere and very cheerful helpful staff.

Can see why its very popular with the locals (no Brits in sight) There's no menu just what is cooked on the day. Fantastic choice from buffet bar to start loads of prawns meats and salad dishes. Main course,on the day, was jugged hare and mash. A strawberry tart followed by cheese board then coffee. Red wine was in an open bottle on the table and was very drinkable. All this for 13 Euros a head and some great fun exercising our pigeon French
