"The malted waffle was delicious! You can get it alone, or as a combo, or a mini combo of half a waffle with one egg and sausage. I enjoyed the half combo which was plenty of food for me. The service was excellent. Great value for the price."

A big hug for Aunt Alice. I 'm not sure if she exists, but if I ever meet her I 'm going to give Aunt Alice a huge hug. This is the kind of place the stereotypical Boulderite hates, and that 's just fine with me. The decor is 'truck stop ', the majority of clientele have been collecting social security for years, and you can get all-you-can-eat Rocky Mountain Oysters on Saturdays (although why you would is beyond me). The food however, is outstanding, the service is down-home friendly, and every time we are there I leave with the distinct feeling that I just walked out of Grandma 's house. Highly recommend the pancakes (especially for dinner), the Southwestern fare, Chicken-Fried Steak and any meal that throws cholesterol to the wind. Not to mention my family of 4 typically gets out of there for under $30. And the best? Free pie on Tuesday and Saturday. Sure it 's not real good, sure it 's cream-pie only, but who can argue with free pie?

We were camping at St Vrain's and went uptown Longmont to Aunt Alice's Kitchen for late lunch, on a Sunday afternoon. It had a very homey atmosphere, and was busy. We got seated right away in a booth. The restaurant has been there a long time, and the furniture and carpet showed, but everything was clean. Wife ordered the turkey special, and I ordered the Spanish omelet. The omelet with sour dough toast was very good. The hash browns came in a large serving. My wife's turkey and mashed potatoes were covered with a good tasting brown gravy. Her cranberry sauce still had the marks of the can on it, and the green beans were also from a can. But it was good. Her orange hot tea was very good and aromatic. I recommend this restaurant.

I'd slap this chick alice for makin such good food! When u first walk in u gtlet the feeling of a... Truck stop but nothing even close. It's so good that I've only eaten breakfast every time I've gone there and have been goin there for a few years. It's just huge plate... Of somethin good. Like grandmas house or in this case, your aunts house. Great scrambled eggs amazing bacon and single best pancakes I've ever had. Just a nice big plate of arterie glogging goodness...

This restaurant is the absolute best! The biscuits and gravy are an addiction of mine and the staff are so friendly. The turnaround time on the food is generally pretty quick and they have a lot of booth seating so it doesn’t usually run out unless it’s incredibly busy. The desserts are great and so is the hot chocolate. I wouldn’t personally recommend the shakes, but everything else I’ve tried is fantastic. I come here at least once a week.
