August - Table reservation

Restaurant August was such an wonderful experience. From the minute we arrived to the moment we left the service was amazing and so perfectly attended. As for the food... wow! The Gnocchi is an experience all on its own worth making the trip. Our steak was amazing, and the oysters that garnish it are equally delicious. My wife loved her red snapper, and commented how balanced and perfect it was, and how the dill garnish just set it over the top. The desserts just magically disappeared, we had the chocolate ganache and citrus panacotta. The pastry chef is amazing we absolutely loved our desserts! Chef Dover... just amazing, well done

A true fine dining experience, the service was attentive without being intrusive. The meal was inventively seasoned and the wine selections were vast which made it possible to pair appropriately. Textures and flavors were well arranged and it was a delicious meal to linger over. My only regret is that I dined alone, as this would have been a terrific meal to talk about with a cherished companion

Fine dining at its best. Creative and tantalizing dishes that proved absolutely delicious all in an upscale, elegant atmosphere. We will visit again without hesitation on our next trip to the city

Best staff the best food I have had in New Orleans . Must have the. Lack blue gnocchi crab with black truffle before you die
