You will probably be in Vouvray to buy wine and you might easily arrive after mid-day when all of France goes off to lunch for two hours leaving you with little else but to do the same. But there seems to be nowhere. But there is in a cave that you are never likely to find by accident. And very good it is too.Fortunatly it is in the same road as the Wine Cooperative - farther on, up a turning to the left. It is signposted.The menu is imaginative and the waitress will carfully explain in English precisely what each dish comprises.What is more there is a good list of Vouvray wines to assist with your buying choices.Our recent excellent meal for two without dessert came to about €60 plus wine.
