Auberge De La GrenouillÈre

It’s an experience, not just a fantastic meal. We had so many flagship recipes that it’s impossible to single out a couple, even if the « boule de poulet rôti » had attracted considerable attention 2 days before our venue on French TV show « Top Chef ». The delicate cooking emphasizes local ingredients and tradition. Both the setup and the service are exceptional. I recommend staying in one of the « huts » in the adjacent park, decorated in wood and natural material, « feng shui » designed, with large windows with full view on the sunrise. We’re fond of Bras in Laguiole and we believe La Grenouillère is an experience with many similarities, including the familial tradition of Chef Gauthier, born in the village whose father was a reputable Chef. We’ll be back!

Offering a very different experience. After checking in we were driven to our accommodation in a 2CV. The driver lowered a drawbridge for us to enter our garden over a stream. We were shown to a beautiful cottage with lots of indoor and outdoor space. Excellent shower. Mini bar with water, beer and juice was a good touch. Dinner was a very pleasurable experience. Attentive well trained staff served a meal which worked on your senses. Very good. Expensive but a great place for a special event.

Absolutely first-class. We had high expectations but they were exceeded. We definitely got what we paid for and more.Superb service, fantastic food with creativity, wine selection perfect. Thank you to all of the staff for making it such a memorable experience

on our first visit we were blown away by the balanced and innovative menu. this time the menu was nice, too. friendly service.

Excellence in the kitchen. Excellent service. Imagination....beyond ! Pricey. But worth it for a special day
