Auberge de Bourgogne

We dined at the Auberge de Bourgoyne on a Wednesday evening during our two week stay in the area. We arrived early and although we were the first there the reception by the waitress' (the owner we believe) was very warm welcoming. The actual...restaurant although not the largest we have dined in was set out beautifully, the table setting was laid out with the quality which the French are famous for, a bit special. There was a variety of set menus we chose the Gourmet' at only euros, the choice of food within the menu was excellent and the food was absolutely first class. We started with an aperitif, as you do, followed by three courses of fine food helped down with an excellent red wine, all for under euros. A very very pleasant evening, so much so we returned a few days later and were not disappointed. If you are ever in Charny you must visit AUBERGE de BOURGOYNE.

We know this restaurant well. Because of the virus lockdown. They had take away service Big portion for little price and cooked by the chef ...

Very nice evening. Charming staff. Good food. Bright interesting restaurant. Small good wine list. Would definitely go back.
