Delicious sushi! The owner and staff are very friendly and speak English as well. It's hard to find good sushi in Europe and Asian Tapas was such a nice surprise. I'd eat here every week if I lived close by. They offer a nice selection of delicacy rolls, fresh sashimi, and Japenese beers. My family and I really enjoyed the whole experience. I recommend calling ahead and making a reservation as the restaurant fills up fast. I plan on eating here again!

The lower floor Asian Tapas is under the same ownership as the French restaurant upstairs (Au Trotthus). I mistakenly wrote our review under Au Trotthus since that is the name that appears on the Visa statement.Let me just repeat that the food, atmosphere, wine and service were all superb. We enjoyed meeting the Japanese sushi chef who was very skilled as well as friendly. We plan a return visit in October 2017 and Asian Tapas will not be missed.

Whether you come here because you like Japanese food or you are just looking for an alternative to the "rich" Alsatian food, this is the place to be! There is a big choice of sushi, maki, sashimi, etc. All (like it should) freshly made. We opted for the extensive suggestion menu, which allows you to have an idea of the different dishes, all excellent. However, be sure that you are sufficiently hungry, it would be a pity otherwise.

The restaurant is in the basement of Au Trotthus but you won't feel claustrophobic. You can sit on the bar or table. But make sure to reserve because they were full the night we came. Nicely decorated with a warm ambiance. The sushi chef is Japanese. She speaks English and French. We had the tasting menu and each dish was worth the wait. Everything was tasty and light.
