Au Lion d'or - Table reservation

There are two menus, and offering plenty of choice over three courses. The cheaper is only available Monday to Friday. Given the surroundings and service the menu was a snip and two of us ate well with a couple of drinks, and...small pichet of wine all for The restaurant was quiet (Wednesday lunch during school holidays)and some of the food, especially the vegerables, had a slight taste of the day before. I'm not sure I would venture to sweetbreads at on the a la carte on the strength of this one meal but will definitely eat here again

I took a party of nine to the Au Lion on the recommendation of our bed and breakfast host and also reading Trip Advisor. We all had the set Euro menu, and our host prepared a vegetarian meal for one of us. We were...so impressed we booked another night, although he was closed on the Sunday night, the host opened up for us and made a vegetarian lasagne. Highly recommended

Good value set menu with plenty of choices for all three courses. It was good rather than very good (but good is not a rating option) but it was good value. The service was very slow but we were a big group so I expect...that was the reason. Nice friendly host and staff

Despite some minor language issues (school french a little rusty) the service was very friendly and the food superb. We chose the menu and thoroughly enjoyed it all. They even called a cab for us to get back to our accommodation as the weather...was bad

Friendly welcome, good value meal or set menu of courses for or euros. Would definitely go back
