Made a reservation earlier in the day to have dinner that evening at the restaurant. Came into the port so they pick you up at your boat. We were told a 9pm reservation with a 8:45pm pick up. A little after 9 I phoned the restaurant to see where our driver was. No one ever called to tell us they were running late. Even though they asked for our cell phone number when making the reservation. A phone call would have been appreciated that they would be 20 minutes late picking us up. Upon arrival to the restaurant they had 2 gentlemen singing near the pool area. It seemed to be more of a romantic setting with candlelit tables around a pool area . Our table unfortunately was higher up in this area that had 1 very bright light to light up the area for the 2 tables up there. Our table was directly underneath the light and the light attracts bugs. So bugs ended up in our water and wine. I asked the waiter after a few minutes sitting there if it can be dimmed or turned off. They said no. Never offered to put us elsewhere in the restaurant. I did not feel they were very friendly to us as American tourists. The menu is very limited. The gentleman did explain it in English as the menu was only in French. Ordered a magnum of wine. It was left in the wine bucket for too long and chilled the wine too much. Asked for salt and they brought me a clear salt shaker that was completely empty. Took very long to finally get salt and by the time they brought it back the kids were almost thru w their meals. The kids are offered fish or lamb as entrees. Their meals were very basic and bland. For having their own garden where they grow veggies I would think that their side dish of vegetables would be outstanding. It really wasn’t. It wasn’t very flavorful at all. Asked the driver to take 2 of us back to our boat bc it was getting quite late and he said 10 more minutes which turned into much more than 10 minutes for the rest of our table to get their final dishes from the tasting menu along with the bill. He wanted to make only 1 trip back to the boat. Overall when I walked in I was pleasantly surprised at the ambiance but very let down at the seating location, service and food.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. I had the tasting menu and it was fantastic. The service was excellent and all of the staff were so nice to us even though we do not speak French. I truly loved this place and highly recommend it. I recommended this restaurant to a French couple staying at our hotel. The next day the woman went out of her way to find me and told me how much they enjoyed this restaurant too and that they would be returning to it a second time. Definitely make a reservation!

Fantastic service, well appointed restaurant with interesting menu incorporating local influences and special flavours. Took a set menu with a variety of great flavours and a recommended wine from the wine waitress. Only criticism was bones found in the fish portion, and no response from anyone at all when mentioned. Chef can’t serve a small filleted portion of fish with bones, it’s dangerous and very surprising for a Michellin guide recommendation, no apology or even concern from staff.

We loved he restaurant as much as the hoel where we spent 3 nights. Modern cuisne with, enough to eat, and an excellent choice of local products. The sommelier had an incredible knowledge of Corsican and French wines. Relatively expensive but fair prices considering the location and the quality of the food.
