We stopped on two occasions for lunch and ordered the American tapas - chicken wings - served on a bed of salad - which were delicious, accompanied by a couple of pints of beer. The waitress who served us was delightful and attentive. We foolishly booked a reservation for the evening meal.It was raining in the evening and good to have the opportunity to eat inside but is lacked character and atmosphere. No need to have booked - hardly anyone there. The few waiters were indifferent and didn't seem to want to serve or see if we needed anything else. We had ordered wine but had to request water - which normally is put on the table automatically in France - as they did not bring any. The meal came very quickly - we ordered streak - but it was awful. Half of mine was left due to the gristle and fat while the steak, cooked as medium and still pink as requested, was chewy. We gave up waiting for anyone to ask if we needed anything, paid the bill and had coffee in another restaurant. What a disappointing evening.
