Although not the best routiere we have visited, Au Bon Vent is a good stand in. Be there by noon or you may not get a table. The entrée, cheese and puddings are buffet style, but you are served your main hot dish at the table. There is some choice, but again, not as wide as some others we have visited. The food is tasty.
Friends took us here for an evening dinner, booking would be recommended as the place looked pretty full when we arrived. The menu was resonably priced, the food, drink and service was excellent. I would highly recommend and will return.
Set on the hill coming in/out of Mortain, this little hotel serves a great dinner. Food is local and further afield, fresh and tasty. Always enjoy a visit here.
