Astoria Shish Kebob House

We were a group of 13 ppl (7 adults, 6 kids ages 4-17) celebrating a 70th birthday! Ambiance-not fancy but comfortable! A casual family feel. Service-Brad was very friendly, professional and attentive! The owners came around personally to check on us as well. I like that! Food-the lamb was amazing and if you get the large size it's a better cut so it's not sinewy or tough! The Greek salad was a disappointment though.(: Literally ONE calamata olive placed right on top of the salad! Cheap! Also too much vinegar. Calamari appy was not the best I've ever had but the saganaki (flaming cheese) was good and salty like it should be! On a side note, they never give enough tzaziki but then again, you cannot get enough in my opinion! Overall, the service was fantastic and I will go back!

Chicken is not marinated . So it was not tender . Salad had too much vinegar in the dressing. The pita was cold and not toasted. This is a sad greek restaurant. Again We were disappointed! Maybe the Owner should visit the Pantheon on the Danforth to see how to serve a great dinner. I feel like we wasted our money.

Have I sited this location about once a month. As alway excellent food excellent environment, alway clean and friendly service. Strongly advise to visit , small or large gathering they accommodate all. Thanks guys for an amazing family time for us every time.

Went for lunch with my friend. My friend recommended the place for lunch as she has been there before and moved the food. The food is indeed good. I loved their Sauce and salads. Will definitely Visit again.

Great staff. Friendly and helpful. Nice menu. Good value. Standard type restaurant that specializes in Greek food. Good for families and groups
