When I looked at Chinese restaurants, this one had the highest rating in Collinsville next to that fine dining sit-down one on Main Street. And like the other Chinese food restaurants, this one is trash. I never eat Chinese in Collinsville and I was reminded why when I ordered from here. Most of the 5 star ratings were extremely old (at least 2 years) and/or referenced the sushi. So since I wanted just fried rice and lo mein, really wasn 't the best reviews to base my opinion on. So I ordered a small shrimp fried rice, small chicken lo mein and an egg roll. $20. Not upset about the cost, I get it, everything has went up as small business owners are just trying to survive. But the value for my $20 was not there. The egg roll was literally 1/3 the side of a normal egg roll. Like something out the freezer section of the Dollar Store,. About 2.5 inches long and about 1/2 in wide. Like, what?!? It tasted like a cheap frozen egg roll. The shrimp fried rice, where are they getting this neon yellow rice in Collinsville? Where is the deep rich brown fried rice with onions, bean sprouts and green onions on top? All the Collinsville Chinese restaurants definitely drinking from the same poisoned cup of Kool aid with their yellow rice that is dry and tasteless. The lo mein was just as bad. The noodles were not traditional round noodles, looked like linguini noodles, flat noodles. And it had 1 big slice of red pepper in it with a bunch of chicken bits in it that looked like dried up leftover pieces. The lo mein was dry as a powderhouse and the noodles were gummy. Like, what?!? I don 't know if I am just used to metropolitan area Chinese (Chicago, St. Louis) and I understand you wouldn 't expect to get outstanding Chinese in small town USA Collinsville but ugggh it sucks the only time I can get Chinese is if I go to St. Louis or home to Chicago. I could have gotten a dynamo shrimp fried rice and egg roll from the black owned Chinese food place for less than $10 and it would have been delicious! So skip this place. And to the owners, focus on your Japanese menu and perfect your sushi and Japanese hot dishes and get out the Chinese food game of you are going to cut corners and not do it right.

Lovely people. Went on a day that was a particularly sad date for me. I received kindness and fellowship in the course of their normal business. Wonderful place, wonderful sushi. Had the West? California fried sushi roll that was amazing. It was a delightful combination of textures and flavors (crisp, crunchy, salty, sweet, sour, heat, tangy, soft) with a beautiful presentation and a reasonable price. Seaweed salad was also very, very good. I would recommend highly and will be going back for more. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetable and seafood options. Parking: Parked right in front.

Always great sushi!!!!! I shamelessly get a party roll platter (64pc) and eat lunch and dinner from it on my one day off. Truly my guilty pleasure
