Ordered take out from here and that process was pretty straightforward except I didn't get an email confirmation so I was a little confused on whether they received my order or not. I got the salmon lemon roll and salmon king roll (both cost $14) which were both okay but I felt like they needed some crunch like tempura flakes or something as both were really soft. The rolls itself were pretty tiny compared to other sushi places I've been before so I don't think it was worth the price but the flavor itself was pretty good. Also I think there was a dead gnat on one of my pieces (not pictured) which is why I docked another star. Overall I think it was okay (due to size to price ratio and the dead gnat) but it may be a different experience in person if I go back again once day to try different rolls.
This place is amazing! Kevin and his wife and crew do such a great job! Their sushi is best of the best and we know sushi having eaten all over the country and all over Japan. They're all about quality of fish and quality of their food. Our favorites include: spicy edamame, takoyaki, Japanese fried rice, chirashi, all the sashimi appetizers, nigiri or sashimi cannot go wrong, and the many great tasting rolls new style salmon and double yellowtail and Asaka healthy options!
What's with the food photos, is whole fish, head and tail on served here or sushi. Steakhouses don't show pictures of cows, please show me your rolls, sashimi and nigiri, not a fish with the head, tail and skin still attached, its a buzz kill. That being said, the fish is fresh, properly prepared and reasonably priced.
I can't say enough good things about this place. the sushi is so fresh and the people who work there are lovely. honestly, the best sushi throughout the opposite. the sashimi is so on the point. they also serve tee in lovable tassen.
