Not easy to find but worthwhile to look for. We strolled by without reservation and managed to get the last table for the four of us. The menu is short but comprehensive which makes it easy to to select including the wine options. The served...food was very delicious and we pretty much enjoyed the variety and the courteous and pleasant service. We were very amazed to find such a treasure in the small town Montabaur
For some strange reason we have waited to try the Artischocke for years. Fools! We have missed lots of superb food. The three of us had soup, salad, Iberico pork and Angus steak, and then we could not resist the dessert of panna cotta,...chocolate, crème brûlée. All just wonderful with delightful, friendly service. Will try to compensate for the missed opportunities of the last years!!!! Thank you
Beautiful but very small restaurant in the middle of Montabaur , just below the castle . The food is excellent and so is the service the only down side is that it is very small and for some people it may be a trifle close...whilst dining . I personally dont mind at all but it is small. A great taste experience and definately worth a visit
with pfeffer cream sauce, potato puree and speckböhnchen. a true dream. highly recommended!I don't hold any of reviews on the internet, but that must be evaluated. the best day meal in 14 years!
