We had eaten at the much smaller old Aragosta site several times and always felt bad for the single waiter who covered the entire place by himself. Service was bad and food came out haphazardly. Food quality was hit and miss. But now at the cavernous new place Chef Imi still had a single waitress who clearly could not keep up and so the service was even worse and the hot food came out cold. Chef Imi fawned over one table personally, but the rest of us had slow service which is very maddening when you realize you are getting second rate service. The actual food quality was also noticeably WORSE at the new place. Cold food never tastes good, nor does well done overcooked meat taste good when you have ordered medium rare meat. This place could only be considered fine dining in St. George, UT by patrons who have never truly had fine dining. Will never go back and would never recommend this place to anyone
The food was good quality and tasted good. The restaurant and experience felt a little dated from the waiters uniforms to the ambience and the food. Expensive good quality food without the wow factor. The presentation of the prosciutto and melone salad was horrible. The meat was draped over the melon and it didn’t have any olive oil or balsamic vinegar. It tasted alright though. Additionally I put in the open table notes that this was a special anniversary dinner and requested glasses of champagne to be ready at the table. I don’t think they even got the message. Also I tried calling times about hours before dinner but no one answered. Overall, the food was good but I don’t think we would go back
We were in town for a wedding and found this delightful restaurant in the bell tower. The chef's creations were amazing as was our server Kaylee. When asked for suggestions she guided us beautifully and we were not disappointed. The cappuccino was even made with extra care. Delicious and we highly recommend it
