Darryl, our server, was outstanding! He did a great job with service and the staff here are the stars of the hour. For an appetizer, the calamari is the best I've had. The food in general was decent. The decor is in need of updating. While I understand that it is themed, it desperately needs a refresh. It detracts from the ambiance and the price point doesn't seem to match the quality.
Just a recommendation, if you order sushi as an appetizer, do not order your entree until the sushi arrives at your table. Last night, at no fault of the server, the sushi arrived after our entrees. This happened at other tables too. The sushi chef was backed up, which happens. We should have known better given the restaurant was fairly packed. The grouper and sea bass was excellent.
