the house has some rooms and camps. it is original and very clean. no reception for tw and wlan. various breakfasts are offered against cash payment, dinner à la carte. very family-friendly house with playground, bee-show box and donkeys. it can only be reached to foot from kufstein in about 2.5h. it is open from May 1st – mid-October. pets are not desired. the Anton-Karg-Haus is located in the rear of the imperial valley on the imperial stream. the house is located in a quiet, impressive environment right in the nature reserve. it is easy to reach for day trips or also ideal for day trips. perfect location for nature lovers! the hospitality, service and cozyness is very commendable. the rooms are clean, beds are freshly purchased. for the overnight stay in the camp should be brought sleeping bags. there is a playground, canine box, waterfront and a beautiful chapel. the selection for the abdensing and breakfast is absolutely sufficient, tastes excellent and are good portions. hot kitchen: Friday and Saturday until 20:00 Sunday Thursday 19:00 clock. the rooms are simple and equipped in the hut handle with bed, mirror and tile oven. only via the flur you get to the balcony. there is no connection to tw or wlan. who wants to shower (etagen shower) should get a coin at checkin for 2,50 €. with it you have 4min. warm water, then it comes again ice-cold! also floor toilet. important!: bring your own home shoes and towel! in summer only by phone, in winter also by email. until 18:30 check in in the cabin otherwise the rooms or camps are passed on, even with reserved rooms and store!!! only cash payment possible!
The Hinterbärenbad hut has kept it's traditional flair, but is full of beautiful modern touches. The hardcore hikers will be impressed with the difficult climbs originating there, the great advice from the in-house guide, and the hearty portions on their return. The softer of us will all enjoy the stunning views of the mountains, the cosy guest room with furnace, and the good wine and cakes. I have stayed in this guest house several times with friends and family as it makes for a great base for several walks in the area, and is always wonderful to return to. The walk from Kufstein would take about 2.5 hours, and is not very challenging beyond the first 15 minutes. It can easily be spread over a longer period for those wishing to take a break at other huts on the way. We also found this a useful base for groups with varying hiking ambitions as the walks in the area range from very difficult to very doable. I have found in the past two years that it is very difficult to get a booking at short notice due to the popularity (maybe I should not write this review :-)) so make sure to plan in advance. If not possible to stay overnight, it is also a nice destination for a long days walk, as it is very possible to make the roundtrip from Kufstein in a day.
the Anton-Karg-Haus am Hinterbärenbad is beautifully situated as the starting point for great hikes in the imperial mountains. and has tasted the food very well, the portions were rather large. There are plenty of homemade, such as limonade, icy, broth etc. the facility is lovingly embellished with many petty things. the service is very attentive, friendly and we felt very welcome as guests!Our camp for 3 people was spacious and well ventilated, but there are also larger with double bunk beds.No wlan available.and hardly data and handy reception. loading possibilities for electronic charring are in vain. nice: additional ceilings are ready on the floor, the rooms are not clamped under the roof.Frowth is to be pre-ordered in the evening and is arranged per person. price is with 7 euro for a sweet breakfast OK.Waschraum with shower was no longer quite deaf but clean. warm water costs 2.50 for a brand with about 4 min running time.
it is every time a joy to return to the lagoon, whether only to the rest or to the night. the wonderful location, the loving equipment and deco of the house. just a joy. the nice service, the good kitchen, a pleasure for leib and soul.Leider we come too little often in this small paradies.
