Amores - Table reservation

We found this place on a google search of nearby restaurants in the area where we were there for the day. After checking that they space for 5 people we sat down and waited. The place had a nice seating area while we waited for for our table. It had a small bar area which was well stocked. We were seated at our table in a well lit area. The menu had all the food that you expect to see in an Italian restaurant. The varied food we ordered was all freshly made, and then came pretty quickly which was surprising as the restaurant was full. Our food was very nice, well cooked and hot. While we eat our food we could see that there was few other parties that were celebrating birthdays, the staff bought the cakes out and the friendly staff started singing happy birthday to the birthday man/woman which brought smiles to everyone 's faces. The staff checked that we were happy with our food, which we were. The price we paid for the food was well worth it and was at a decent price. For food two rounds of drinks for 5 adults we paid £140. Well worth the money. If we all meet again in Nottingham we will definitely go back there. Excellent venue, excellent service fantastic food.

Booked a table for my husband and myself as we were staying in nottingham for the splendour festival, and had visited this restaurant once before. Our last visit was great, but this tine it was different. The food was nice, although my husbands risotto could have been better, and I had to pay extra for a sauce to accompany my salmon fish, which I thought should have come with the meal. The older waiters were not very pleasant, just took our order, with no pleasantries at all. Also, while we were eating, he was pacing up and down and looking to see if we had finished our meal. Quite off putting indeed. Did not feel at all at ease, and it looks like if there are customers arriving who are regulars, are dealt with preferential treatment, even though everyone is a paying customer and should be treated the same. The desserts were lovely, when the bill arrived, I did not give the discretionary tip, as I felt that I didn't receive a good service. Perhaps the management need to retrain their older staff in giving better customer service.

Ken served us from the start and I couldn't be more happier with the service at this place. My fella left to get flowers for me from next door and Ken came over with a vase of water for my flowers. Had a candle light because I left a comment on booking that I wanted it to be special. Ken recommended a chocke. Dish for Mt partner. As soo. As my partner said creamy chicken. Dish he knew what to reccomemmed. I had the steak with pate. Was so delicious. We had garlic bread to start and we ate every last bit. Was absolutely to die for. Booked in again for a table of 10 for end of August 10/10. Amazing food and amazing service. First time in over a year that I've been so happy with such great service. 10/10. 1000%recommended..

This has to be the best Italian restaurant in the midlands. The owners and staff will welcome you with a warming smile and ensure your time dining there is the absolute best service, amazing choice of freshly made Italian dishes for any pallet. It is great value for money and has a friendly warm cosy atmosphere both in the bar area and the dining area. Shout out to Tiana, Sareya Patricia and Siaeed!

Good pizza and happy to let us take the extra home in a box. Vegan choices limited and not so clear but on asking it was fine and the chef can accommodate more options than noted. Friendly staff. Not sure why plastic Covid screens still needed
