American Way - Table reservation

Always very happy with American Way and the Red Billy Burger is my husband's favourite as it's a great vegetarian burger but the last order we made (Uber Eats) after 50 minute wait which was expected and after my husband bit into his burger it was a beef patty! Very disappointed especially as it is one of our favourite restaurants and their food is so tasty. But a beef patty instead of a vegetarian burger is not acceptable.

Burger (half pounder with mushrooms and bacon) was nicely cooked and delicious but the counter/service area is very greasy/grubby and the menus, table coverings and seats so felt like they had a layer of grime from the grill. This place has been open for 40+ years and its good is perfectly good just feels like it's been a long old time since it was given a thoroughly good clean.

Honestly the staff were lovely, but I’ve never been so disappointed when it comes to the food… I ordered a chocolate shake and my friend a white chocolate, yet mine was lighter than hers and tasted exactly of vanilla? I went to ask the staff if I had received a chocolate shake and before I could say anything about it she apologised, which shows they know it was done incorrectly

This use to be great place to go but has gone down hill over the years poor quality food and customer service is pretty poor, especially the guy that cooks. Much better burger places in Cheam now than this place

Not great. Food wasn’t nice at all and milkshakes all taste the same. Got really foggy when they were cooking could barely breathe
