We made reservations and when we got there, we were waited at the front door to be seated, but no one came to help us, so we decided to walk in directly (personally I feel a bit rude by doing so but I saw this is what other Germans do), finally they gave us a table. The food is excellent, we enjoyed every meal, from pork tender loin with creamy mushroom sauce, Argentina beef roast, to wurst, just a bit pity that they do not serve dessert. Overall we enjoyed our dinner very much and the price is really affordable, highly recommend to someone who wants to try out true German meals!
Restaurante con encanto en un pueblo con encanto. La comida está toda exquisita, los platos son generosos y todo a un precio más que asequible.La ensalada estaba exquisita, además de llevar un montón de cosas (frutas, diferentes tipos de lechugas, gambas,...) Creo que nunca he comida una ensalada mejor.Las salchichas y la ternera con noodles y champiñones también excelente (la salsa que acompaña a esta carne está para chuparse los dedos).De bebida las cervezas caseras están bien y no son muy fuertes.
We spent a great summer night there. The food was abundant and very tasty. Very good German cuisine. The beetles were hearty and the steak to the point. Despite many guests, the staff was very attentive at any time, friendly and had a very good taste on the lips. We felt comfortable. The restaurant is located right next to the theater, which is why you can also watch the performance outside. The ambience is very harmonious. You can also sit here until the later hour.
Wonderful place to stay in a great town. The owner met us for check in and helped us to park. The restaurant wasn’t open but we were directed to one a few minutes walk away. I would recommend booking at a restaurant as there were...queues to get in many around town. This hotel is very quirky and is 650 years old. The room was dark but that added to its ambiance. We had a great sleep and was welcomed at breakfast with a Buffett set out for 2 with eggs cooked to order.
