I am a masterpiece in the old gas house beautiful and can absolutely not understand the negative critikens.The carvings are always super - for me the best of all restaurants in hagen. I can only recommend to anyone to return there.My wife eats the calf liver and has never had anything to complain before. for the children there is also a small children's card and the owners are very child-friendly - they are handed out paintbooks and donations so that the little ones are busy.There are different beer varieties from the barrel and a beautiful beer garden in which you can sit comfortably in the sun in the afternoon/end. we have reserved for the training of our daughters. for such events is also opened without problems outside the regular business hours for one.For me, the old gas house is beautiful with a distance the top address in hagen for good-bourgeois kitchen!
on 26.12.2016 we visited several couples the gas house beautiful. we had reservations early on, so we were also informed that the Christmas menu is published on the internet. this did not happen! due to the price design that was then seen during the visit quite understandable. the menu started at € 27,90, thechildren teller € 14,90. as an appetizer there was a forest mushroom cream soup like I haven't eaten yet....For me, it tastes so sweet. the ordered black medals were tough and without taste. well that the cook had only put two small pieces on the teller, it was probably aware of what he had conjured. I have to say to the honor of the cook....Pommes caner. So if it had been as ambitious as the pricing, I could have saved this here. the only light look is the controls.......but that's not enough!
