We have been coming here fairly religiously for the years we have been living in Oberursel. We brought visiting family here tonight and were extremely disappointed. We ordered the party platter for as we have done many times before. The portions were much...smaller, the potatoes are cooked in a totally different way and lacked even salt, and the roast was tough and inedible. We were embarrassed after we had talked up how great the food was there to our guests. We have always ordered Fleischkäse for our children but now because of corona they were unable to serve it to us, despite it being part of the party platter and thus something they clearly have. We couldn't order extra pieces either. Fine, we will serve the ones that come with the platter to our kids. Well now they are less than half the size of the ones in the past. We had servers, the male was rude and forgot everything and at one point left to ask a question then never returned, the female was fine. They brought the desserts for people but when asked about the applesauce ordered for a child, it came min after everyone else finished. When asked about it, we were told it was coming they had to prepare it. So making complicated desserts was okay but plating applesauce takes ages. I understand times during corona are hard but this was a terrible experience
Amazing setting. A building constricted in the century yet quite current as it is well visited. A great place to sample a good home brewed traditional beer. Just amazing. The food what you would expect and prices are adequate. Lovely place. Will come again
Sat inside and outside and received great service from friendly staff. The beer was good. The flammkuchen was a bit soggy but the flavour was ok. Worth the visit from the centre
It is in the center of the city with pretty big and nice yard for food and drinks. Own brewery. Service was good, too good that you would a little bit pushy
