"as my friend and I have just a short stop at alpe hochegg during skiing around the afternoon, at this point only a short report (the other GG friends like to forgive me, but finally I was skiing and not driving as a gastro critic to Oberstaufen-Steibis). the ski resort steibis offers some Alps or restaurants. Our choice fell to the alpe hochegg as it offers a large panoramic terrace that is in full sun. for approximately 200 people, benches and tables were freely furnished. inside should provide the Alpe for good 100 people room. the alpe hochegg is not a small, rustic alpine economy, but a larger gastronomy. also from outside the Alpe sees “more modern” as “old-traditional”. my friend chose a Goulash soup (4.80 eur), while I had a frying sausage in the woke (3.90 eur), which was grilled right next to the terrace on a wooden cauliflower outdoors. a yeast (0.5 l for 3.60 eur). a deep criticism can of course not be written in this lush meal. only so much: the soup received the predicate “goes so”. I didn't even burn it. the sausage had a very firm, almost leather-like skin. I like to grill at home and passionate, but I would only buy it once (as long as I don't know), and then no second time. At least we went back."
