we had a family dinner, and everyone enjoyed their meal. the food was well prepared and the portions were sufficient. it was particularly nice that the menu contains several options that are made entirely from local ingredients. the wine list was almost completely regional, and the wein. we were chosen was served properly. the exterior are next to a children's playground, so we were entertained by many small children who are happy.

We stayed at the Hotel Die Alm and this restaurant is a part of the hotel. We enjoyed the food and was probably the nicest option in the vicinity. It's obvious that the chef takes pride in their work and is creative with the dishes. It's high quality and not particular inexpensive, but about as good as you'll find in the area.
Even with our gps was not easy to find this place, but it was a fantastic eating experience. the parking lot was almost full and they told us that the restaurant was fully booked, but we could get a place in a next room. The food tasted excellent. Too bad it was our last night in the Black Forest. next time we'll be back.
