Fine dining is a full experience, starts with the atmosphere and ends with the last sip of coffee. This experience was exquisite, a full length story of the sea . A theme that persists through all the dishes , unapologetically at times but true to the story of the sea . A full 17 courses that brings the talent of the chef to your plate in all its glory . The dishes are not too complicated and every one has its own chapter in this story . The waiters are very helpful and the dance of the clearing and placing the dishes is well choreographed with the wines breads and the general atmosphere. The tables are spaced in a way that allows privacy yet still provides the feeling of a busy restaurant. To summarize it’s a great visit for someone who loves the taste of the sea and is willing to take it to the next level . Well done chef Angel León and his team .
Explore the boundaries of avantgarde cuisine in this restaurant. Be treated to the most advanced cuisine techniques with the freshest produce from the ocean. Fish taken to a level that will shae any conceptions you may arrived here with. Exquisite service, excellent local wines delivered by a truly experienced sumillier. Every dish is more surprising than the last, and there is seventeen of them. Hard pressed to single out my favourite. The food is the star. I have been to a number of Michelin starred restaurants and what makes this special is the way it puts investigation, science and effort into plunging you into a world of fish, ocean and sea produce as you have never experienced before. If you are a foodie and want to be swept off your feet by the most amazing treats oceans can give us, come here. This must be experienced. You will never forget.
An exquisite evening exploring the ocean through 17 courses at Restaurante Alevante by Ángel León, the Chef of the Sea. A few hours of fun, full of surprises with a unique sensorial journey, textures, scents and beautiful presentations. With fresh ingredients, seafood and plankton, this place is truly amazing. Excellent service and their suggested wine options were superb we opted for local wines and they’re perfect!
Unfortunately during my stay this restaurant as never open would have been nice to have been nice to have had this option during my stay. Only open in July August?
