Alev Mediterranean Grill

My BFF and I decided to try this gem of a restaurant. We are middle eastern ourselves, so we have certain expectations of how this type of food should taste. We were blown away by every dish, right down to the hummus, which you can find every where these days. The chef is an exceptional food artist. The atmosphere was quiet and very nice. It’s a family owned and operated business and Tulin, (our server) and her sister were so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be visiting this place again!

A Gem Of A Place. The food is exceptional, we had a group of four; we each ordered different items. We each took a taste of all four dished, everyone was/is equally recommendable. Tulin, Gina, Tarik, and Sam were excellent hosts, very friendly, personable and professional. Alev is a must and a recommended dining experience. Thank You For Having US!!!! Had a wonderful dinner on a Friday night. Although slightly busy, my friend and I had a great experience with the kind staff, attractive decor, delicious food, and reasonable prices. I was especially impressed with the excellent seasoning on the meat and was happy to have leftovers the next day.

Sitting in the parking lot eating the falafel pita sandwich and just had to give a review. 10/10, it’s SO good. And they unexpectedly brought it out to the car when it was ready, which was much appreciated. Definitely will be back.

Our most favorite Mediterranean cuisine place in NJ! The food is consistently delicious and the food portions are amazingly large. I have never had hummus so good anywhere else. -Mayank Patty
