Alborz - Table reservation

I really wanted to love all the food I got as we had traveled from Lewisham to get there. So was very disappointed on the mediocrity of food, despite the very kind woman (manager? All the food I had was so bland: the smoked aubergine and the Fesenjan. But big portions so good value for the price, I guess? We got boxes for takeaway. My husband had a chicken and saffron rice (which I wish mine came with rather than white basmati rice with some saffron rice sprinkled atop , with red berries sprinkled atop. He also got a side order of the yogurt and garlic sauce which was quite tasty. His verdict: nothing to write home about but good enough. I ended up getting a side order of berries as well as mine was so bland (the Fesenjan sauce was practically flavourless . My husband enjoyed the tea and baklava it definitely doesn’t taste like the standard baklava which I enjoy more, as there’s more of a rosewater flavour. Like I said, the server was so motherly I hate leaving a mediocre review. I’ve just had much tastier Persian food elsewhere.

I do not think u can call this place a restaurant..and really I don’t know y they r still running this place as a persian cuisine.. Plz ,plz ,plz do not go there What a waste of money Tired furniture..dirty and dark ambiance,poor customer service and all in a great location... My food was burned and tasted like rubber,dry salad and all comes pricey... what a joke !!!!!!!

Great lunch time meal , food was great , it’s really good and should be 5 stars really . The only thing that marks it’s down is they didn’t give free bread with meal.

this is quite a smelly place and the food is not that good ... don't bother going there... worst resto I have been in a long time

stay away from this place as it is stinky, not clean and old interior. Food quality is not worth the money
