Set in the Aerodrome, with a view of the landing/ take off runway. The Belgian chef is a larger than life personality who prepares your main dish at an enormous open fire grill.The hors-d'oeuvre consists of a well stocked and varied buffet, and included in the menu price is also cheese and dessert from a large choice. Wine is also included. The ambiance is relaxed and pleasant. The staff are very friendly and efficient.
Ok, fair play to the owner as the buffet had loads of choice but it was nothing near special. Was really looking forward to some great food, but I could cook a better meal at home. Hate to give negative reviews, but the food was so bland and basic I left there speechless...... But on a positive, seemed well run and the service was good.
this has been a joy to eat at over the last 20 odd years, of course the covid years made travel difficult but early 2022 and in 2021 a few times....bit told but the most reliable sources he has closed this wonderful treasure
