We went yesterday to this little restaurant. We didn't even know about it till I found it on Groupon. I was very excited to go because I grew up in Florida and I miss all the Puerto Rican and Cuban food that I could get. There were 5 of us...it was my husband, myself, and 3 of our kids. We walked in and immediately you could tell it was run by people who were not only from Puerto Rico but they were proud of their food and culture. I liked the music and the decor. The man behind the counter immediately can over and said he's take our order at the counter as soon as we were ready. We did wait a long time for our food but I understood because we were a family of 5 and we weren't the only ones in there. So I didn't mind waiting especially knowing there was just 2 people working to get everybody their food. Once the food got there I definitely didn't mind how long we waited because we found it all very good! It was delicious! My husband had the stew beef with rice, beans and salad, I had the stuffed sweet plantain with rice and salad, my son had roast pork with rice, beans and salad and my 2 daughter's had the pork chop with rice, beans and salad. We had 2 orders of tostones and 2 orders of sweet plantains for us all to share. Everything at our table was great! The portions on everything was also great! We all left full and satisfied. We will definitely be back!

My friend and I tried this place for the first time as it was also our first time trying Puerto Rican food. I must say...the customer service and food is delicious with a capital D! It's a very cozy but super laid back spot to dine in too if you want to drop in for lunch or chill with some friends. The cashier was funny and that made us feel comfortable for our first time being there. The girl who cook in the kitchen brought out our food herself which was awesome. I also like that it's BYOB (Bring Your Own Booze). Now I have found my new hot spot for the weekend. The passion fruit drink is really really good also. I highly recommend it. The salad was FRESH. There's nothing worse than soggy rundown iceberg lettuce, but theirs was fresh and crisp, how a salad is supposed to be. Thanks to the staff at Adobo for making our experience delightful. With such friendly and laid back staff, I can only imagine how hospitable and awesome the people are in Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico, here I come! <3

My in laws are from Puerto Rico, so I brought some food for them. I purchased mufungo and stuffed plantains. I also purchased an additional arroz con gandules. The flavor was great, but not what they were used to. They said that they personally don't put cheese on everything. I would eat here again.

My wife and I went here after purchasing a Living Social voucher. It was our first time trying Puerto Rican food. The food is fantastic! Very flavorful! The ambiance of the place is great and the prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be returning to try more of their dishes.
