Found this place on a stop over in Chicago. I absolutely loved it! Best marinara sauce EVER! I have been looking and tasting sauces ever since I was a teen and we moved away from my favorite Italian restaurant in CA. I have never found the “right” taste until we happened upon Abruzzo's! With the first taste my jaw dropped and my eyes popped! My husband thought I was having a stroke! “This is it!” I yelled!! Now, the sad part: I live in Seattle! The food is fresh and delicious. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. The place is lively and fun. Kris was our server, he was attentive, amusing and helpful. This is a friendly and welcoming place that won't disappoint.
Delicious food. Very large portions. Great friendly service. Very nice outdoor patio. Parking lot is tiny but lots of street parking. Reasonable prices.
Great pizza, little expensive but as someone who is lactose intolerant, it is the one pizza that has done the least damage to my stomach.
