313 Franklin Cocktails Kitchen

Everything about this restaurant was fantastic, the service, the food and the restaurant itself. We stopped by 313 Franklin on a Tuesday afternoon. This place was suggested to us by a local business owner. My family, which consisted of My wife and I, my adult daughter and my adult son, his wife and two toddlers. We were greeted with big smiles and found a table that fit all of us. We ordered...for appetizers we had the crab dip and the charcuterie board. Delicious. For our entrees, my daughter got the outstanding shrimp and grits, my wife had the salmon and rice, my son had the crab cake dinner. My daughter-in-law had the New Orleans Pasta, which is shrimp, chicken and Andouille sausage with a creamy pasta sauce.. Outstanding!! Our server was very pleasant, efficient and detailed. She made sure our orders were correct. Outstanding food, service and atmosphere. I almost forgot, try the hot rolls and whipped butter, it will change your life. Kid-friendliness: They accommidated toddlers that were 3 and 1.

We were visiting South Hill and asked at our hotel where we should go for good food and this place was highly recommended. As it turns out this restaurant is on the bottom floor of a converted elementary school. They are located in the old cafeteria. Looking at the pictures you can tell that they did not take away most of the original structure. They have it decorated with school type items, not sure if they were from the original school. The rest of the building is apartments. The food was delicious and our waitress, Roberta, was so polite and helpful. I am a really pick eater and they made it so I got my meal exactly the way I wanted it. The strawberry Cosmo drink was soooo good. Most places the cosmos taste like pure alcohol, but this was great! There was another woman there, I didn't get her name, who kept checking on us to make sure we were doing ok. She was very nice and we had some great conversation with her. Great food and great atmosphere, highly recommend!!!

What a great place to eat!!!! The decor was fun and creative and the staff was super friendly. Our server Lindsay never let our drinks empty. We got the ribeye and the filet and they were cooked perfect. We felt like we were back in DC at an upscale restaurant. PS.... get the tranquility peach mule, it was delicious!

Steak is full of grissle hard to chew roasted chicken was dry no bread Is offered or you pay 1$ a roll very expensive service not great! out of most of the wines that were offered just beware
