Zur Alten Post - Reservar uma mesa

We visited this beautiful little pub-style restaurant twice. Once for a quick drink in the evening and once for lunch. Our evening visit was quite short as we did not eat and they closed at 9.30 a.m. at night, but the service was friendly and we were trying to return for lunch the following day. As the middle of the Spargle season, it seemed a good idea to go for it. Within a minute or so the order was made a beautiful bowl of soup as an appetizer and the main course, Spargle in hollandaise sauce / potatoes and a piece of pineapple, a few minutes after the soup arrived. All parts of the meal were well prepared and delicious. My only crumb is that they only accepted cash, it would have been more convenient to pay for two meals with the card. That said everything was very cheap.

Idyllic place, the secret tip in Bingen. Delicious house cook at reasonable prices and very delicious wheat beer. Beautiful conditions and everything very clean

We were for lunch today with 4 adults and 2 children. Very good food and very good service. Here the value for money is still true.

Very tasty especially recommend the Post Pfaennschen. Staff very friendly and attentive

Very recommended. Had the Palatinate Sauerbraten on 5.10. Very delicious.
