the lookout is great!Waffeln very good!Leider was the waitress unpleasantly pre-lauded and did not want to bring us one of the 3 ordered waffeln.She insisted that we order 3 equal waffels.First after multiple "we want this" our order was accepted. we would have liked to have ordered an aperol splash or the like, but unfortunately there was not.Alternatives did not want to suggest them.

This cafe is set in stunningly beautiful countryside just below the majestic 12th Century Castle of Burg on the Wupper. It serves local specialities from the Bergisch Land and the service is delightful old-fashioned and friendly. See if you can get a table outside if the weather is kind. Combine this with a visit to the castle and enjoy stepping back in German history.

we were here twice: in 2016 we ate a very good cheesecake (I believe homemade) and in juli 2017 (only) a mixed ice cream.Quality and taste were very good. the prices are of course adapted to the tourist center Schloss-Burg.The view from the terrace to the wuppertal is great (if you get a place at the edge).

we know the caffe and have been wagging for many years and it is always worth a trip! top fresh, the hospitality warm mountainous and the complete offer perfect! every height meter uphill in the most fertile bridge park is worth it if it means: we drive ne waffel while you eat!

all restaurants on the upper castle are good. best to enjoy wadding with cries and seeing or a mountain coffee table.
