After all the great reviews i thought i try this place, the crossaint was stale and hard not even fresh for today, not sure why i was given something old, when they removed the stock soon as i was leaving, strange, coffee was nothing special, staff could try harder and try smiling, perhaps a off day, though at these prices they should try better, dissapointing Re-editied I went back today to try give this lovely cafe another chance, and wow very nice it was thankyou, the crossaint was very fresh, the cappachino perfect, and i tried the passion fruit cheescake its the best i have tried anywhere, i will be returning for more thankyou for offering a delicious options, and the staff were very welcoming even when so busy :

I saw the worker who took my order preparing it, saw him trying to wipe off a fork with a cloth and then put it in my plate. I went to sit at the outside seating area, and then noticed that the fork had a lot of food residue still on it, which I tried to just scrape off but it was hardened and wouldn’t come off. I couldn’t go back into the shop to get a new one/get a take away box to eat later since the sign said ‘closed’. Wasn’t very pleasant.

Poor options for vegetarians or vegans! Shame as it’s a nice cafe but the menu is not great unless you eat meat, crazy considering the target market for this more “upmarket” cafe on the high street…The WORST Penne Arribiata I have EVER had, pasta with tomatoe sauce dumped on top. I come here regularly for coffee, but now you have lost a customer forever for serving such terrible food! Seriously!?
