Wirtshaus In Der Altstadt Meinerzhagen

It was about 12:00 and we where driving south for several hours more and we decided to stop for a quite lunch but not in a burger along the highway. I searched for a restaurant with some good critics and found Wirtshaus Banse only 5 minutes away from the highway's exit. It was a nice surprise, quite and cosy, decent price quality, and with a very good attention. We took an onion soup as a starter, that I can only recommend. As the owner told us that the main course was well served, we decided to share one so that we would have some space left for a ice cream. I will add this restaurant in my GPS so I can pass by next time!

Herbdressing tasted watery. Tsatziki did not taste cucumbers in garlic, tasty loaf. Had Souflaki meat was hard and did not taste. We were two foods, my accompaniment was ready to eat, plates were cleaned even though I was still at dinner. Don't go!!!!

The inn is centrally located, has a super friendly team and a perfect kitchen. In summer there is a large and cozy beer garden for seduction

Food is mixed between convenience and freshly prepared. Dishes differ between Greek and German. Wait was relatively long on our visit.
