Let me start by saying the soup with pancakes and liver dumpling was one of the best we have had. I was worried my five year old wouldn't like the liver dumpling, but it tasted so incredibly delightful she ate it all. This is a massive bowl of soup! We split some salads that had great dressings and got the schnitzel platter. It was crispy and tender, just how schnitzel should be. The staff were attentive and spoke English very well! The hardest part about this restaurant was getting to it- lots of one way streets to get there. Very good.

Ideally placed for those who take the underground out of the city centre to take a walk along the banks of the 'Old' Danube. As well as the normal a la carte menu an incredibly good value two course set meal is available at lunchtime. I had the set menu and my wife had some very good grilled herrings from the main menu.

Recommended by our hotel this restaurant was a fab find. Local cuisine - luckily the owner was on hand to translate and to recommend dishes. Lovely Austrian wine to accompany the food. Recommend the soup with liver dumplings and the steak with garlic and crispy onions.

The hotel recommended the restaurant, so we went to check it out. The owner welcomed us, while we were looking at the menu, and explained everything in English. The service was on point and his suggestions were great. The atmosphere at the place was awesome....More

The restaurant is nice, it's always a good sign when you only see locals at a place. The food was good, big portions and very nice staff. It's far from the city center, but if you stay nearby, it is a good choice.
