Wintergarten - Reservar uma mesa

Wintergarten is one of those special luxury restaurants where the look matches the taste of the food. Flooded with natural light during lunch and a nice cosy setting during dinner, the food, I have to say, is spot on in taste and flavors. I had the Wiener Schnitzel of veal seared in butter with small parsley potato which came with a generous portion of country house salad. The veal was soft and tender while the outer crust was nicely done. My partner had the Marensin chicken breast with poultry jus, sage and winter vegetables. It was also delicious and cooked perfectly that it was so tender. Additionally we had the lobster bisque which was quite different in that it wasn't the typical creamy version but was lighter and well balanced. My partner had the beef consommé and it was both light as well as flavorful. The vegetables were very finely diced and the two dumplings were a nice touch – the beef filling was simply delicious. We ended dinner with a Brenners Apple pancake. Lovingly presented with the top of the Apple pancake boasting a nice caramelization. By then, we really couldn't stomach any more than the post-dinner petit fours... Overall we were impressed with the food and the flavors were well balanced and made for a very enjoyable meal. We were lucky that night as two Michelin star Head Chef Paul Stradner was helming the kitchen while the famed Michelin starred Brenners Restaurant was closed for a month. The service was also impressive-staff were attentive, food came in quick time even though it was busy. This is a beautiful restaurant with beautiful dishes that you must try if you visit Baden Baden.

My husband visited here two nights in the row - the first after dinner elsewhere just for dessert and a glass of wine and the experience was so lovely we had to return for dinner the next night.Dessert on the first night was one of the best I've ever tried in my life, and all I can say is that the description in the menu undersold the amazing results. The atmosphere was also lovely, sitting by the little river as the sun set, surrounded by beautiful gardens and the cute hotel cat playing on the grass. Service was amazing as well.The next night we returned for dinner and it was also lovely - the only thing I can criticize is that I chose to have the same dessert as the night before and it wasn't half as good. It was missing half the elements that were on the plate the previous night, which ruined the balance of the dish. It was like they had run out of ingredients and put the dish together anyway. When I asked the waitress about this she said every pastry chef had their own interpretation of the dish, but this was a completely different dish. Consistency is really important in this level of restaurant!

Bei unserem Besuch im Brenners waren wir an einem Mittag zum Essen im Wintergarten.Der Wintergarten ist, vor allem bei gutem Wetter mit seinen Terrassen, ein sehr gepflegtes und charmantes Restaurant. Das Angebot der Speisen ist im Schwerpunkt "bürgerlich", ohne deswegen einfach zu sein. Im Wintergarten wird auch bis ins Detail perfekt gekocht. Wir hatten zum Beispiel zu unserem Spargel jeweils ein Rinderfilet, welche wir jedoch in zwei unterschiedlichen Garstufen haben wollten. Und auch das wurde perfekt umgesetzt.Der Wintergarten des Brenners ist ein erstklassiges Restaurant !

I had a tasty vegetarian mushroom risotto. Service was good, and the waiter spoke English. After dinner we moved into the adjacent bar to listen to live piano music over latte macchiatos.

Der Wintergarten entsprict dem hohen Standard des Hauses. Sehr gute Gastronomie - auch für Vegetarier und Veganer. Aufmerksamer Service und Blick auf herrliche Natur.
