I was here so often, it would be hard to count and until this last Charleston Resturant Week I decided to take off a star. A friend of mine went to pick up for us after a hard week that happened as Charleston Resturant Week. We didn't call earlier because we wanted to have a drink while we waited for the prepared food. They told us they wouldn't take them out of Resturant Week. What? Even if there weren't room at the bar, we would be happy to wait in the car. SUPREME DISAPPOINTMENT and I haven't been there since. I understand the capacity requirements, but turning away the local frequent males seems like bad. SMH. It was the first time I felt I received bad customer service. Well, although I have to take a star for my recent experience... THE FOOD, SERVICE, AMBIANCE, DECOR, DRINKS, ETC. I love it and I'm never disappointed except that once during the Resturant Week. My FAVORITES are in the preferential order as follows: Pappardelle mit Guanciale, Whitemarsh Farm Pilze, Arugula, Parmesan Baked Potatoes with truffle Aioli, Skalion, Parmesan Crispy Calamari mit Marinara, Garlic Aioli, Lemon, Petersilie Bruschetta mit Auberginen, Feldbäuerchen, Parmesan, Arugula Your speciality will blow you out of the water. Who's that? I'll be back, I love the place too much, but I wish the staff had better treated a local regular at night. You will enjoy it! O and it's on John's Island, but the ride worth it, it's right over the bridge really! Look! You'll love it! PROMISE.
