Wiener Cafe - Reservar uma mesa

We chose to eat one evening in this restaurant, believing it to be a restaurant where we eat very well. But it was the biggest possible mistake. Starting from the way the restaurant staff spoke to us, and up to the inferior quality of food,...everything was a great disillusion. Chicken and pork were not too edible, and the dish looks like a lower-class fast food. I do not recommend

We were driving thru Austria and stopped for a coffee break in Gmunden. We searched for a place that served Apfelstrudel mit Vanillesauce and found Wiener Cafe. We found a nice table outside and placed our order with the friendly waitress. The coffee arrived and...so did the Apfelstrudel swimming in a generous portion of warm vanillsauce. It was heavenly :

Good cafè, beer, cake and icecafé. Asked for the bill and had to wait more than minutes. This pointless waiting time ruined my view on this place. Note, there was not much traffic at this time

Excellent spot and being on the upper floor offers a great view of the lake. There are a good number of Vegetarian options and food served is well made. Nice and friendly staff as well

Had the Pork schnitzel which was lovely. Be aware that the side salad is served with dressing unless you ask for it to be left off
