the much-praised surprise menu cannot be created as scale. the concept is clear: before the rest days everything is still used and offered at a very reasonable price! the invention is attributed to reitbauer senior (steirereck).But to the thema: the map is manageable. the greeting from the kitchen quite wonderful, the kalbstatar too. Why can be baked for the bark soup is not quite comprehensible. the lamb fillet on much too powerful olive pureee does not correspond to expectations. the surschnitzel is fantastic, the potato salad is too little seasoned and unfortunately it is not possible to provide the service personnel with salt and pepper. so it goes there - a change bath. the self-interested staff does not have the level of a local of this price class. to bring about a harmonization, howgand will have to decide whether he goes back with creation and price a step back or with the staff a step forward.
have been with Wiegand several times and were thrilled each time. the location is nice to eat, as well as service, quality and price - performance top. have received the surprise menu every time, even if it was not provided according to the menu. the tellers are great, the combinations experimental and delicious. a taste of the experience. the waiters were good diners and winemakers. incredibly attentive!
had a busy lunch in the very nice shaded gas garden. we both had the lunch-day recommendation and were really overwhelmed. the kitchen and the service had no problem that we made a change in the lunch menu. the truffle appetizer, then meat and dessert by just € 14,- - was the absolute hammer!10 for 10 points for this price/performance experience
