White Castle Clifton

White Castle is an institution and holds such special memories from my childhood. Although we do not eat there very often (2x/year) every time we do it, it brings back so great memories. This year, when I learned that she brought Din back to service, I quickly have a reservation for Valentine's Day. We don't usually go out this day, but we made an exception. We came to the Clifton NJ White Castle and were greeted by two beautiful young ladies dressed in red, who accompanied us to our table. Complete with candles and flowers. They offered to make pictures of us and then take our order. The order was delivered to red plates with red napkins that set all moods. It was fun to share our favorite sliders while Valentines Day celebrate. So much fun and a piece of Americana. We'll be back next year. Thank you.

Based on the description of the event when we reached the place, we had to assume that we have a place marked with our name. That didn't happen... we had to call her to let her know we were there. The food was as expected and the service was good. The order was not correct and we had to call it. Menu was the same food as any normal day. Activities in the menu were cute...Spotify music station also had to listen to music, but no one had downloaded the app. You should have mentioned this in the description prepared... Not as expected from the description. I am sure it is a better experience when they do this inside. Isn't that gonna do it again... really a big nothing..

White Castle promises a special Valentine’s Day dinner with decorations and table service. We got none of that. We had to order at the counter and take to table. While food was as tasty as it normally is, for them to advertise as a special romantic dinner at White Castle is misleading at best and false advertising at worst. My husband and I lost a romantic night out due to White Castle and they will likely never be able to make that up to us, nor don’t think they would even try.

We arrived in time and they had no table. This place has literally 4 tables. 1 table for 1 person, 2 tables for 2 persons and 1 table for 4 persons. They had a few on the only table for 4. This situation should not be able to make reservations for Valentine's Day. You can't take them.
