Although I must confess, the Riesling, which he gave as a thank you for my hospitality, was one of the best I ever had to drink. Mango and passion fruit together in a delicate, ice-cold sorbet space. I have to express it that way. And among them diced, slightly marinated pineapple. Fruity and full-bodied and not too sweet. As for the Crème Brûlèe. Crispy caramel mirror over delicate vanilla. Mmmmmmmmmm. A successful conclusion. Anyway, I didn't cry for the other one's cheese for a second. 4,5* At the end, we could have another Riesling Trester of the distillery Dozauer from Oberkampf to the Digestif. I like the fire. Very friendly owners. The brothers Hehner lead this inn in Waldböckelheim in 7 generations. We enjoyed a multi-day arrangement, accommodation, baggage transportation and transfers between stages on the Hildegard of Bingen pilgrimage. After a very informative guided tour by Mr. Hehner about the Disibodenberg we were driven to Waldböckelheim. There was a very tasty and excellent four-way menu on the topic Hildegard von Bingen. Each part was excellent and was accompanied by selected wines from the winemaker Hehner Kiltz. The rooms are modern and very well furnished and very well maintained. We felt very comfortable here and can only recommend the wine house.

We have been regular guests there for years and are always happy when we go to dinner alone or with friends, in summer on the Terasse and otherwise in the cozy guest room.
