Weber's Front Row

Just left in tears. This place was my visit to Webster Groves. Sa in the bar and ordered my food. A guy who was manager sat next to me. He talked to another employee at the station. This manager, let him call Wade, claimed that this employee was autistic in a joking way. Then he claimed that if this employee was really autistic, Weber?s would receive a huge tax credit. This manager we call Wade said they deserve money when they hire? Re-res? and that he should test this employee for autism. A very friendly server heard and let him know what he said was insulting. I let them know later that I am a parent of an autistic child and was deeply insulted. The manager we call Wade later came to the bar and spoke to the bartender. I felt my blood pressure rising and decided I couldn't sit there anymore. I asked for my bill and go. The bartender asked if something was wrong, then the manager said? It's my fault? Let him know that I was very upset and that my son is a?re-re-re?. Fearably sad and disappointed. I'll never be back.

For the first time with friends. Bartender with blue hair was unfriendly when walking in the door. Saw inside. Ordnete Texas Twinkies (jalapeno poppers) and they were quite sad to say the least. The one who brought them out brought us plates, napkins and forks and said he also brought knives, but never brought them. A person ordered chicken pedini on recommendation and other 2 persons ordered grilled tuna. I have rarely ordered my tuna medium, which is a personal preference. When it came out, it was a hockey puck. I asked the waiter and he said that the kitchen would only cook well. Okay, but I would have got the possibility that it cooked like that or order something else... BUT instead they just cooked it. I didn't eat it, and the waiter didn't even ask if something was right. The steamed broccoli and white sauce pasta was good. Needless to say I won't go back

After the opera stopped as we did over the years. I had the Roast cow sandwich with double meat and Coleslaw. Both were delicious. My wife had grilled cheese with the best perpetrators she ever had. The bartender/server (owner) is somehow gruff, but really nice and efficient. He's here as long as we got in. This is pure food, nothing fun and an interesting menu. We ate inside, but outdoor tables are available. We have three more operas this summer and we are back at least once or twice.

I'd say 0 stars! Your employee Wade has to watch how and what he says in the restaurant. My son, who worked with Wade, had the shock of listening to him, making terrible jokes about autistic children. Our son is the father of our wonderful grandson who is randomly autistic. They must be absolutely shocked and appalled by this behaviour. We have been customers of Webers for many years. We never come again!
