This understated eatery is easy to miss as its part of a strip mall that?s recently been renovated. It used to be a standalone building but it?s been incorporated into a larger building with a small nondescript street facing entry. The interior feels more like an office building lobby than Chinese restaurant, but what they lack in decor, they make up for with flavor and value. I stopped in for a quick lunch and was pleased to see a lunch special menu on the last page. The specials come with rice and soup and I ordered the spicy, garlic white meat chicken $8.50). The egg drop soup beforehand was savory and flavorful. The chicken dish was delicious. It had a slightly sweet and spicy glaze and the vegetables were fresh and vibrant. Since I judge all Korean-style Chinese restaurants by their jjajangmyun black bean noodles), I ordered a small portion which I appreciated). The sauce was thinner than what I?m used to but full of savory goodness and perfectly seasoned. They make their noodles in house which is also another plus! They offer the standard cabbage kimchi and raw onions on request. The venue is set up to host banquets and groups, so this would be a great choice for a large party. I?m glad I stopped in! I?ll be back... for the large portion of the noodles next time!
