for 20 years I was more regular in the treadmill. for a few years came a new nightier, but the level remained raised with some changes. since the coronary season the menu has been changed, as well as the opening times. there is no longer a lunch break, and this allows them to pick up phone calls from 11:00 to 22:00 clock. an order can also be delivered at this time. the menu is adapted to the season, there is now even pizza. on 14.2.2021 there was a valentine offer, for 2 people, with appetizer, fish, meat, dessert and a bottle of wine for € 79,00. Despite snow and more than inhospitable roads, the food was brought on time. Of course, food must be kept warm, which is not a problem. I had already heated the ones before, so that I could keep the warm food there warm, which came in dessert into the cooling, i.e. in the snow on the balcony, the grass in a carafe. so we could eat our own food without having to take us as if we were there in the restaurant. Today we got our order on time and could eat on the balcony in the sun. we have high respect for the people who struggle for survival in this heavy coronary period and do not give up. we look forward to the day we can visit the restaurant again. eva

Wir sind regelmäßig in der Walkmühle. Der Service ist unaufdringlich, freundlich und familiär. Die Speisekarte ist abwechslungsreich, eher italienisch bzw. mediterran geprägt, mit einem ausgezeichneten frischen Fischangebot, welches man direkt am Eingang in einer Kühltheke sehen kann. Auch das Weinangebot ist gut. Wir waren bisher sehr zu zufrieden und empfehlen es gerne weiter. Einzig das Publikum könnte im Schnitt zehn Jahre jünger sein. In Mülheim gibt es nur wenig vergleichbar gute Restaurants und ich weiß, wovon ich spreche!

Für dieses Traditionshaus geht es unter neuer Leitung weiter. Als Gast darf man dankbar feststellen, dass Atmosphäre, Service und Angebot an die gewohnte Qualität nahtlos anknüpfen. Mit einer erfrischenden Tageskarte, die durch aufmerksamen Service präsentiert wurde konnten wir ein feines Essen auf der sehr lauschigen Terrasse genießen. Tischreservierungen sind empfehlenswert, bitte ebenso Ruhetage berücksichtigen - so werden Enttäuschung erspart.
