Waldesruh am See

We stayed at a wedding in the forest rest at the lake and stayed there. The wedding was perfectly organized by the hotel. From the reception with coffee and cake on the terrace or in the garden of the complex over the buffet, the service during the celebration until breakfast the next morning was all 100%. The location is beautiful, right at a lake with lots of nature around and the hall for the celebration is original (can be a bit cheeky for some, but really very festive. We had a double room with lake view for the night. It was spacious with a small seating area in front of the bathroom, which separates the area from the sleeping area. On the tash stood a few fruits and on request we brought a hairdryer into the room. Otherwise, the staff was really great all the time. Overall, the hotel is already a bit more day after day what you can see in the equipment. The corridors, the elevator and also the stairs are quite narrow and rustic. Unfortunately, our beds were also very soft and well designed what I found at the price (I mean, at the 85 euros for the night... a bit bad and disappointing. All in all a rustic, family house in beautiful location and perfect for a wedding party.

We had never been here before and since it came recommended, we tried it out. Service was super friendly, nothing to complain about. My wife and I both had a soup that was a bit thin on substance but not bad. Bit stiff on the price though around € 7 a piece. We then both ordered small portions, my wife the fish, I had the game Schnitzel. Both dishes came at about € 18 a piece. Added to that a 0,2l. of a Burgenland Zweigelt at more than € 7. Not a bad experience I must say, but not worth the money I am afraid to say.

We were visiting friends in Aumühle and they booked us into here for a meal. Great location and beautifully decorated. The service was friendly and relaxed. We all had different meals and all of us were happy with the portion size, taste and presentation. Good choice of beers and wines. The price was a little high, but was acceptable for the quality of the establishment! All in all....... a great meal in a lovely setting at an affordable price......I would return!

We sat on the beautiful terrace in the middle of the nature and enjoyed what the kitchen had prepared for us! Unfortunately the lady serving us was not really very friendly and for a waitress much too loud.

A very quiet house, it was very clean and spacious. The staff was friendly, helpful. The food was delicious.
