Von's Bistro - Reservar uma mesa

Very average meal. The menu did not reflect the photos on google maps. Started with the crab Augratin dip. The sauce was not a true hearty béchamel style I was hoping for. It had a watery spin to it. To me augratin is butter flour chunks of white and green onion. The amount of crab was minuscule and the type was not lump crab. The crab pad thai was served piping hot and fresh to order as it should have. It was a huge pile of noodles. The egg was a little over done and looked like bacon in some spots. The dish was sweeter than I expected. Again the crab was hard to find. The lettuce wraps with lemon grass chicken was the best of these 3 dishes. The sambal sriracha style sauce had a great flavor but way too heat hot. There were a lot of Asian dishes and overall the short lunch menu did not reflect bistro to me.

I was looking for a place to get a bite while staying in the battle house and stopping on this precious stone. we were impressed. the menu is a unique mix with twists on several elements. the staff was polite, helpful and made sure the things were right. we were looking for something on the lighter side, so we started with crab wontons that we found were made by the mother of the owner by hand. simple but amazing aromas. my wife has the salat shells that were extremely tasteful and I had the seafood afteros (just to try something else.) really very glad that we decided to stop. if they ask themselves if they should. don't surprise you my friend anymore.

I love this restaurant. the banh mi gay bauch tacos and the pho suppe are two of the courts I seriously long. I wish I had it now! the aromen are great. I also have the pad thai nachos that were also beautiful. the building is an old renovated building in the inner city with a cozy atmosphere. the staff is friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend it.

unique and hip fusion place that has some really cool dishes that you can't find anywhere. the atmosphere is ideal for casual lunch and the location is ideal for post-Meal walks around water st.

Amazing food me and my girlfriend been looking for good restaurant in mobile and we finally found one. The fried rice is prefect.
