Villari's Lakeside

This was my second time here within the last year. The first time was absolutely amazing. Everyone in our party of ordered additional food to go which was also amazing reheated. That’s what made me return. I ordered the exact same appetizer and entree as before. The first visit was This last visit I would have to rate a generous The service was great however my food was nothing like the first time. The prime rib lacked flavor and was tough. The meal seemed rushed even in presentation. Our reservation was closer to closing time however that should not effect the quality of food or service received. The steak was also just ok. I will give it another try in the future only because the first experience wowed me so much. Had I have only had this experience I likely wouldn’t return. However the service was great and the ambiance outdoors both times was beautiful (day and night visits), and if I can enjoy and again as much as the first time I’m willing to give it another shot.

Overall was very nice. Seated upstairs with a nice view of the lake(beaver pond) and the grounds. The food was excellent. Prepared to our liking. The service was a little slow but we could see our waiter hustling with a big table downstairs so we understood. Since it was our date night we made the best of it and is a nice place to sit back take in the view and reconnect after a long work week.

Went on a Saturday so it did seem abit crowded. Both of my dinning partners enjoyed the scallops and leguinni with clam sauce. My onion soup was just average. My veal "Sinatra" was just ok. The shrimp and scallops in a brown sauce seemed a strange pairing.

Food was good, but service was SLOW and the bachelorette party being held in the general dining area really killed the ambiance. Many patrons were not happy, yet nothing was done.

Food excellent, ambience not real classy, no table clothes, only one fork to be used for salad and dinner, when entering with reservation no personality to make you feel welcome.
