4 of us had Sunday lunch here today and were really impressed with the food. One starter of black pudding, goats cheese and bacon stack which was absolutely delicious. 2 mains of lamb and 2 of the roast beef dinner followed by apple pie and sticky toffee pudding. All the food was excellent and at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be returning Price per person: £10–20

I’ve always had a good experience. I stepped out of my comfort zone and ordered the black and blue chicken for the first time which is the house special. I’ve never been so fascinated with food that I couldn’t decide if I liked or not. It’s like marmite. I decided in the end that do I like it. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

What a lovely pub! We went for a 'quick bite ' to eat at lunchtime (after a lovely walk). The panni was great! Well worth a visit. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
